Thick Antique Jambati Singing Bowl with a glowing gold interior #1704

Super thick classical old style large Jambati with a glowing polished gold colored interior. This large bowl has a wide rim and clear etching. The interior is delightfully silky smooth to the touch. This is one substantial bowl, over 5 Lbs. A short lived overtone plays on top of s slowly active bass – but only for the first part of the sustain. After that it is all fundamental tone. Longevity and harmony are ok. Bass only off the rim with the big leather stick. For the overtone it is best to use the softer Frank Perry massive yew wand to dampen the chatter. As you can hear at the end of the second recording the rim play high has a pleasing flutter. With overtones at A4, A5.
