Large Antique Jambati Singing Bowl with a rapid fluttering bass #1723

1. Best L1 Large Soft White Felt Mallet single tap.
2. Rim Play: N103 Large Ringing Stick leather low then overtone followed by FP Massive Zebrawood Wand

Jambati with dark and hazy exterior patina punctuated by bright spots at the high point. Interesting effect. The artwork consists of a couple of circles inside. Subtle rapidly fluttering bass underneath a more solid high. While the bass is active it is still peaceful, not changing in volume much. Great high tone rim play, wonderful bell like soundscape. With leather two overtones play clearly, with a massive wand overtones two and three spin out. Yes there is a subtle bass but it is not easy because the active rim is hard to tame. That same activity enhances its responsiveness to pressure for the highs. With overtones at D4, C#5, C#6.
