Thick nicely appointed Jambati with a broad inner facing rim and clear but worn etching. This very old bowl has rich consistent patina. Pulsing woo-woo fundamental beneath a sweetly singing higher note. Excellent longevity with both most audible tones sing in balance with each other. The bowl is tuned to a natural A, half the frequency of A432. Fine rim play. With leather the pure main tone plays. Simple wood or even better a massive yew wand the plays overtone with a touch of bass and the next tone up. With overtones at E5, E6. Perfect A3 (432 Hz Scale) – 216 Hz.
