Very Large Thick Antique Jambati Singing Bowl with slight sonic flaw #1786

1. Best L1 Large Soft White Felt Mallet single tap.
2. Rim Play: N105 XL Ringing Stick leather low then overtone followed by wood

Very large and thick Jambati with simple etching and consistent hammermark patina.

Lively pulsing soundscape both bass and overtone oscillate rapidly. Premium harmony, fine longevity. The bowl does, however, have a slight flaw. It can be heard when striking the rim hard. When struck softly and below the midline like in the recording the sound is pure.

Spectacular rim play. The pure fundamental is easily played with leather. Pressure to the rim with leather spins the overtone, more pressure with wood for the second high. This is a fine bowl marked down significantly for the subtle flaw.. With overtones at D4, D5, B5.
