Large Thick Adorned Antique Jambati Singing Bowl with Sweet even sound #1839

Very thick, very large Jambati with clear hammermarks and extensive etching. The bowl has consistent creamy original patina. A solid substantial bowl.

Sweet and even toneset where the soundscape evenly pulses with premium harmony. Sustain is excellent, the sound drop-off is gentle and a full sustain to silence well over a minute as the bowl uses its full 5 Lbs. of metal to great potential.

Great rim play. With a simple extra large ringing stick the leather side will smoothly play multiple soundscapes. Unlike many bowls this one easily isolates the 2nd octave fundamental. The first and second overtones, the second being a hidden lively component of the overall soundscape, come up clearly. Incredible volume can be attained off the rim.

Exceptional all around bowl. Rated exceptional for the sonics. With overtone at F4.
