Large Adorned Antique Jambati Singing Bowl with gentle pulsing overtone #1847

Bright large classical Jambati style with sharp and clear artwork. The broad inner facing rim also shows some etching lines. A clue to the bowl’s antiquity is a pure copper spot on the bottom of the bowl. Solid bass underpinning a gentle evenly pulsing overtone, The overtone carries a discontinuous higher note for a few seconds into the very good sustain. Harmony is premium, the sound flows along. Excellent rim play. The peaceful bass tone is easy to spin with leather – clean and pure.- while the long lasting overtone can play with either with leather, wood or a massive wand. Great value on a great looking large old Jambati carrying special frequencies, marked down for a slight sonic imperfection. Main tone is near Solfeggio – pain relief 174 Hz.
