Large Antique Jambati Singing Bowl with lilting 81.5 Hz soundscape #1855
1855 Large Antique Jambati Singing Bowl with lilting 81.5 Hz soundscape #1855
1. Best L1 Large Soft White Felt Mallet single tap. |
2. Rim Play: N105 XL Ringing Stick leather low then overtone |
Simple large Jambati, lots of rough hammermarks and a minimum of simple artwork.
Low tone 81.5 Hz soundscape that lilts along. The pattern of oscillations makes for a three part sound, two pulses on top of a solid center. Unusual pattern of premium harmony. Fine longevity.
Rim play can give you insight into the unusual soundscape. Bas is just there, low and slow but the overtones, a hidden woo-woo wailing unevenly. Quite the interesting bowl, especially it being such a low frequency. With overtones at B3, B4.
