Antique Jambati Singing Bowl with complex three tone pulse pattern #1861
1861 Antique Jambati Singing Bowl with complex three tone pulse pattern #1861
1. Best L 2 Large Very Low Mallet single tap. |
2. Rim Play: N105 XL Ringing Stick leather low then overtone followed by FP Massive Zebrawood Wand |
Simple open shaped Jambati with consistent patina. There are faint traces of artwork inside and out. Complex and active soundscape, three distinct tones with three oscillation patterns. Most audible are the overtones but they stand on the 108 Hz fundamental tone. Very good longevity and harmony. Great rim play, super easy to spin to volume, even the massive wand. The recording has me bringing it to volume with the wand in 1/4 turn around the bowl, just 90º. With overtones at D#4, D5, B5, F6. Perfect A2 (432 Hz Scale) – 108 Hz.
