Amazing looking Jambati. The bowl was polished then adorned with sacred motifs. The entire exterior is a series of 8 hand etched scenes, check out the photos in detail view. Quite thick for a Jambati as well. This bowl is likely of Indian origin. The age of the bowl is most likely 75 to 150 years old based on the information I got from my source, that is relatively new compared to any Jambati for sale on the website. Whatever the history this bowl was intended to be special. This is the second bowl of this type that I have come across. The prior one was polish under stain, this one is nice and clean, very light patina giving the bowl a golden cast.

Deep gently active soundscape, the bass pulses slowly, overtone rapidly what you might expect in an orderly world. Very good harmony, excellent sustain. The slow loping bass comes across easily with leather, for overtones just wood will do. An unusual bowl with good sonics. With overtones at D#4, D5.
