Solid and peaceful deep second octave tone when played with a soft mallet. When played with a higher tone mallet the overtones predominate.
Smooth and easy fundamental tone with leather, just what you’d want from a bowl like this. Scratchy overtone with wood is barely worth trying for.. With overtone at F4.
