One of a kind ceremonial lingam bowl. The shape is somewhat round, a cross between Thadobati and Jambati. The lingam is incredibly prominent, very tall and smooth surrounded by deeply etched circles which make it stand out. Underneath the bowl is a deep and dark indentation. The patina of the bowl is bright, worn from use. Below the belly line the bowl was originally deliberately finished roughly, that has mostly been smoothed by hand wear. The bowl also has a wide inner facing rim with a deeply etched line. A rare collector’s piece. Sweet third octave high B fundamental with high frequency overtones. Premium harmony within the sustain, good complexity. The bass comes off the rim easily with good volume. A big wand sings the overtone accompanied above and below. With overtones at F5, F6, C7.
