Thick Antique Manipuri Lingam Singing Bowl with strong then subtle bass

6700 Thick Antique Manipuri Lingam Singing Bowl with strong then subtle bass

1. Best S 7 Small Medium High Mallet single tap.
2. Rim Play: N101 Small Ringing Stick wood

Extra thick Manipuri Lingam with sharp extensive artwork and an uneven central spire. Acquired in 2012 when it was easier to find extra-thick Manipuri. Relatively solid primary tone, strong on strike then subtle presence with a singing overtone that plays to the end. Fair harmony, good longevity. Despite a sharp edge you can get this bowl going quickly and strongly with a $4 stick. Fine rim longevity. With overtones at G5, F#6, D7, G#7.
