Antique Manipuri Lingam Singing Bowl with Exceptional complex harmony #6718

1. Best S 7 Small Medium High Mallet single tap.
2. Rim Play: N103 Large Ringing Stick leather then wood

Thick larger Manipuri Lingam with original patina. The extensive artwork shows evidence of wear on all surfaces. A bowl that has seen significant use. Truly awesome soundscape where the extremely well matched tones each have their moments of prominence in the long sustain. Very sweet sound. Sustain is good. Plays well with a large stick, leather for the isolated low and wood for the strongest overtone. The sticks lose the harmonious complexity, this is a bowl to enjoy with mallets With overtones at A5, G#6, D#7. Overtone: Perfect A5 – 880 Hz.
