Antique Manipuri Lingam Singing Bowl with Premium harmony #6726

1. Best L 4 Large Low Mallet single tap.
2. Rim Play: N102 Medium Ringing Stick wood followed by FP Tulipwood Wand

Thick larger Manipuri Lingam with bright original patina. The extensive artwork is visible despite significant use with more wear on the inside than the outside which has a punch and leaf design. The lingam rises out of the bottom of the bowl without any indentation underneath, the sign of a bowl crafted from the beginning to be a ceremonial lingam.

Steady and pure fundamental juxtaposed with an active overtone. Premium harmony and good sustain.

Rim play is just fair, really just the overtone with a simple stick. A wand can tease out the second overtone. Very much a bowl to enjoy the premium harmony with a mallet.. With overtones at A#5, A6.
