Antique Manipuri Lingam Singing Bowl with Textured active sound, #6729

1. Best S 5 Small Medium Mallet single tap.
2. Rim Play: N101 Small Ringing Stick wood

Manipuri lingam with two sets of banded punch circles and the classical extensive exterior design. The bowl has clear circles on the rim and creamy consistent patina. A beautiful example of this ceremonial style bowl. The lingam rises out of the bottom of the bowl without any indentation underneath, the sign of a bowl crafted from the beginning for ceremonial use.

Textured active premium quality soundscape, much better than the usual lingam, lead by a pulsing bass. The solid overtone provides balance. Very good sustain.

Fine wood rim play. The overtone plays well with a simple stick. The smooth rim helps allowing for long term spinning without rim noise.. With overtones at C6, B6, F#7, C#8.
