Antique Manipuri Lingam Singing Bowl with harmonious steady notes #6733

6733 Antique Manipuri Lingam Singing Bowl with harmonious steady notes #6733

1. Best L 4 Large Low Mallet single tap.
2. Rim Play: N102 Medium Ringing Stick leather then wood followed by FP Ebony Wand

Large Manipuri Lingam, well used and worn with a mirror like interior most likely from repeated polishing. The exterior has original patina and clear etching. Rich and harmonious soundscape with steady notes fluctuating in a tight band of oscillations. The primary tone is strongest at the start, the overtone continues throughout the long sustain. Fine harmony for a lingam. Excellent rim play. The sound just jumps off the rim when played with wood. Leather for bass with a tap, overtone super fast with simple wood and next level highs almost when you just touch the rim with the ebony wand. With overtones at F#5, F#6, D7, G#7.
