Antique Manipuri Lingam Singing Bowl with Exceptional High energy #6742

1. Best S 5 Small Medium Mallet single tap.
2. Rim Play: N101 Small Ringing Stick wood followed by FP Tulipwood Wand

Thick worn Manipuri Lingam with uneven patina. You can still see quite a bit of the original extensive artwork.

High energy soundscape, a high very solid fundamental augmented by two super rapid oscillating overtones. Over time the overtones drop out leaving the solid fundamental to carry on. Longevity is exceptional, one in a hundred for bowls this size.

Fantastic power off the rim as once again the bowl surprises. Wood only, high volume with simple wood or wand, first or high overtones. Exceptional longevity with honorable mention to powerful rim play. With overtones at C6, B6, G7.
