Antique Manipuri Lingam Singing Bowl with an evolving soundscap #6744

6744 Antique Manipuri Lingam Singing Bowl with an evolving soundscap #6744

1. Best L 4 Large Low Mallet single tap.
2. Rim Play: N102 Medium Ringing Stick leather then wood followed by FP Ebony Wand

Worn Manipuri lingam with just a bit of the lingam mound surrounded by vestiges of once elaborate artwork. There still remains some of the punch and leaf exterior design. Complex and evolving soundscape with a pulsing woo-woo overtone being the strongest tone. This is a very responsive bowl, one to get a lower and higher tone mallet with to hear the different aspects clearly. Very good longevity. Excellent three method rim play. Leather for bass, overtone quite easily with simple wood and next level highs with the ebony wand. With overtones at E5, D#6, B6, F7.
