Tiny Lingam Antique Thadobati Singing Bowl with great sustain #30601

30601 Tiny Lingam Antique Thadobati Singing Bowl with great sustain #30601

1. Best L 6 Large Medium Mallet single tap.
2. Rim Play: N103 Large Ringing Stick wood followed by FP Massive Zebrawood Wand

Large, extra thick Thadobati lingam with rich dark original patina. This ceremonial bowl has seen a lot of use based on the amount of wear, especially the top of the lingam. Most of the artwork has been washed away with the exception of a few of the tighter circles right next to the lingam. It has a well formed a broad rim in the crushed / crease exterior style. The bowl has seen so much use that in parts this feature is worn away to a whisper. Spectacular penetrating soundscape, the sonic energy flies off the bowl. After a good initial period of multiple notes the soundscape focuses on the C main tone. Premium harmony. Longevity is excellent, the tone is held at good volume as it pulses. Great rim play, very quick to pick up volume, exceptional rim sustain. Almost all you hear is that powerful high C. Rated exceptional for sound, especially combined with the rare style. With overtones at F#6, E7.
