Huge Extra-thick Ancient Mani Singing Bowl with fluttering main tone
6100 Huge Extra-thick Ancient Mani Singing Bowl with fluttering main tone
1. Best L 6 Large Medium Mallet single tap. |
2. Rim Play: FP Massive Yew Wand wood |
Super thick large sized Mani with vestigial artwork and a lot of evidence of hand wear. This is an ancient bowl with an exceptionally broad rim, original patina and impressive weight despite the wear. Initially the bowl has that hollow Mani sound but very quickly the soundscape quiets into the fluttering main tone. That tone continues on quietly for a good long time. It plays off the rim easily with a massive wand, best being the yew. With overtones at A6, F#7.
