X Thick Antique Mani Singing Bowl with harmonious and resonant tones
6215 X Thick Antique Mani Singing Bowl with harmonious and resonant tones
1. Best L 8 Large High Mallet single tap. |
2. Rim Play: FP Massive Yew Wand followed by N103 Large Ringing Stick wood |
Extra thick Mani with extensive artwork and a broad decorated rim. It has brassy patina with some darker areas. At just shy of 5 Lbs and 8 inches this is about as big and heavy Mani bowls get. The 1.5 CM rim is at the top end for Mani bowls. Sweet super high tone note for such a massive bowl. Harmonious and resonant with good sustain. The note is almost pure with overtone existent but so fleeting as to be not evident. Fine rim play with wood, Any wood will bring up the sound quickly and purely giving you excellent control over volume. The massive yew wand plays more smoothly than a basic wood or harder massive wand. With overtone at C7.
