Large Extra Thick Antique Mani Singing Bowl with steady solid tone, #6253
6253 Large Extra Thick Antique Mani Singing Bowl with steady solid tone, #6253
1. Best L 4 Large Low Mallet single tap. |
2. Rim Play: N102 Medium Ringing Stick wood followed by FP Massive Yew Wand |
Mid-sized Mani with worn old artwork. This thick compact bowl has dark and mottled patina. Pure steady solid tone, an unusually focused high pitch. This bowl is much better played with a softer low tone mallet that leaves out higher parts of the soundscape as they detract from the main event. Longevity is better than average. Stick play is wood only, easy to volume. Wood, however, brings out the overtones which are weak in terms of harmony. With overtone at A#6.
