Antique Mani Singing Bowl with Penetrating super high tone #6270

6270 Antique Mani Singing Bowl with Penetrating super high tone #6270

1. Best L 8 Large High Mallet single tap.
2. Rim Play: N103 Large Ringing Stick wood followed by FP Massive Zebrawood Wand

Very thick worn extra large Mani bowl, somewhat smooth to the touch with clear echoes of what was originally deep etching. The broad rim remains even with the etching muted. Nice smoky brass original patina. Fluttering super high tone fundamental, at the top for this size and style, very nicely matched with a less active overtone. Penetrating and intense. Good harmony and sustain. Fine wood play I like the massive vermillion wand for revealing higher notes. Being old and worn somewhat smooth the bowl is a bit too slick for leather. This is a rare huge super high frequency very old broad rim bowl. With overtone at C7.
