8595 Colorfully artistic Antique Manipuri Singing Bowl with balanced tones
Manipuri with clear artwork including a full set of inside and rim circles and a central star Wildly colorful patina. Balanced soundscape with a mix of slow moving frequencies led by a strong bass tone. Sustain is on the short side so this is a bowl for multiple taps. Interestingly different patterns of taps will accentuate different parts of the soundscape. Not much of a stick bowl. doable but a bit rough sounding. With overtones at G#5, G6.
