8759 Thick Antique Manipuri Singing Bowl with powerful deep flutters
Smooth bright colored Manipuri with faint traces of artwork. This small bowl is on the thick side and feels heavy in the hand. Harmonious soundscape where different tones fall into deeply varied flutters. This is a powerful bowl that can really generate a lot of volume that dissipates relatively quickly. Surprisingly the bass tone plays off the rim with simple wood. The overtones can be sung out with an ebony wand and have great longevity. With overtones at C#6, C7, G7.
