8807 Rare Antique Manipuri Singing Bowl with premium high pitch soundscape

Thick Manipuri with deep exterior lines and rare broad rim. This old style bowl is worn entirely smooth inside. Exceptionally sweet soundscape with a pure high pitched strike tone and softly rolling overtone. Very good longevity, especially for such a thick bowl. Plays great off the rim. With wood any stick or wand will bring out great sound. For the strike tone you need the heft of a large leather stick. With overtone at D6.
