8859 Thick Antique Manipuri Singing Bowl with Harmonious penetrating sound
Thick bright Manipuri with faint artwork inside and out. This bowl was originally even quite a bit thicker and the design bold. Very clear high pitched soundscape with a penetrating quality. The tones are harmoniously balanced and the oscillations mutually supportive. Very good longevity and a lot of projecting power. Plays ok off the rim with wood, better with a massive wand than an inexpensive Nepali stick. With overtones at B5, A#6.
