80002 Polished Antique Manipuri Singing Bowl with a fluttering mix of tones #80002
1. Best L 4 Large Low Mallet single tap. |
2. Rim Play: N102 Medium Ringing Stick leather then wood followed by FP Tulipwood Wand |
Nicely adorned Manipuri with very well preserved artwork. This bright brassy bowl has punch circles inside and around the rim. It even has a bit of the inner star artwork remaining which is quite rare. Active pulsing and fluttering soundscape with a mix of tones lasting until the end. Harmony and longevity are both quite good. Fine rim play, both wood and leather with the stick, bass and overtone mix. For a pure next high go with a tiny wand. With overtones at E5, D#6, D#7.
