Thick punch and leaf design Manipuri with clear elaborate interior etching, The bowl has a flared rim with circles on it and clean bright patina.

Solid seeming bass with a more prominent and active overtone. Both tones play well together through the very good sustain. Fine internal harmony.

The way to spin the rim with on this bowl is with wood, the simple ringing stick for the overtone and a tiny wand for the next high. A rare thick and heavy well preserved example of the most elaborate Manipuri style.. With overtones at F#5, F6, C7, G7.
