Punch and leaf design Manipuri with clear elaborate interior etching peering through intensely colored patina. Great looking antique. The bowl has clear circles around the rim.
Unusual flat soundscape where the tones match each other in a steady unhurried manner. Three tones are audible and they all have this solid feel. Longevity is quite good on the overtone.
Excellent rim play with a simple stick, then a wand adds the next dimension. Leather for a nice strong pure low and wood for the first overtone, A tiny wand hits the overtone above that.. With overtones at D5, C#6, A6.
