Antique Manipuri Singing Bowl with an intriguing set of overtones #80083
80083 Antique Manipuri Singing Bowl with an intriguing set of overtones #80083
1. Best L 4 Large Low Mallet single tap. |
2. Rim Play: N102 Medium Ringing Stick leather then wood followed by FP Ebony Wand |
Very worn Manipuri, all the artwork gone except in loss spots outside. Wonderfully interesting soundscape, premium harmony throughout with a textured bass and then an intriguing set of overtone whose matched oscillations give the impression of alternating as most prominent. Fascinating and exceptional. Really nice and easy rim play, A basic stick with leather sings bass and the wood side the overtone. A hard ebony wand can easily sing out the overtone number 2. Lower price for the physical flaw. Otherwise the bowl would be exceptional. With overtones at G5, G6, D7.
