Antique Manipuri Singing Bowl with balanced strong woo-woo bass #80084

80084 Antique Manipuri Singing Bowl with balanced strong woo-woo bass #80084

1. Best L 6 Large Medium Mallet single tap.
2. Rim Play: N102 Medium Ringing Stick leather then wood followed by FP Ebony Wand

Well worn Manipuri, nice traces of the old artwork inside outside and on the rim. The patina is on the bright side and consistent except for a watermark. Strong woo-woo bass plays prominently throughout the quite good sustain. By the end it is the only note. For a good part of the ring an overtone swirls above. Really nice and easy rim play, A basic stick sings bass with leather and the wood side quickly the overtone. A hard ebony wand can easily sing out the second overtone. Lower price for the almost imperceptible physical flaw. With overtones at A5, D#6, B6.
