Simple somewhat heavy Manipuri worn almost smooth from use. The bowl has a bright brassy color. Active overtone, almost a woo-woo with a gently pulsing bass. The overtone lasts to the end of the good sustain. This bowl has the weight for solid rim play. Good volume can be had on the bass with leather, overtones come out strongly with wand and simple wood. With overtones at D#5, D6, A#6. Perfect A3 (432 Hz Scale) – 216 Hz.
