Banded Circle Antique Manipuri Singing Bowl with pulsing bass #80220

1. Best L 4 Large Low Mallet single tap.
2. Rim Play: N102 Medium Ringing Stick leather then wood followed by FP Tiny Yew Wand

Punch and leaf design Manipuri with worn once elaborate etching, The bowl has a rim with faint dots on it, what remains of a much wider rim that had full circles. It has clean bright patina.

Gently pulsing deep fundamental matched by a similarly peaceful yet more active overtone. Over time a solid singing high emerges as the bass fades. Very good longevity and harmony.

Good rim play, the bass is a bit difficult leather but comes up eventually. Overtones well with simple wood. Next overtone requires a tiny wand, yew to cut down on rim chatter,. With overtones at D5, D6, A6, D#7.
