80232 Small Antique Manipuri Singing Bowl that emerges from a cacophony #80232
1. Best S 7 Small Medium High Mallet single tap. |
2. Rim Play: N101 Small Ringing Stick leather then wood followed by FP Purple Amaranth Wand |
Simple Manipuri with a set of uneven central punch circles. The bowl has evidence of significant hand wear. Lively super resonant sound with activity all over the place. To the end you hear a woo-woo note that emerges from the cacophony. You can get a bit of bass with leather, best rim play is overtone with simple wood. It takes a harder wand like purplewood or ebony wand to tease out next level highs. With overtones at E5, D#6.
