Distinctive Antique Manipuri Singing Bowl with an energizing soundscape #80263

80263 Distinctive Antique Manipuri Singing Bowl with an energizing soundscape #80263

1. Best S 5 Small Medium Mallet single tap.
2. Rim Play: N102 Medium Ringing Stick leather then wood

Unusual round bottom Manipuri with elaborate exterior etching under a gracefully flared out rim. It has dark patina. This shape bowl, somewhat impractical, is often cradled for use as an altar piece. Pulsing woo-woo fundamental and a gently active overtone in a strong, energizing soundscape. Good harmony and longevity. A responsive bowl, sounds much more intense with a higher tone mallet. Great rim play with a simple stick. Smooth bass with leather, singing overtone with simple wood. With overtones at G#5, G6, D#7.
