Thick old Manipuri adorned with a full suite of elaborate etching, The center of the bowl has banded punch circles, same circles on the rim and outside they are part of the leaf pattern. The shape has a bit of a flare out at the top. Inside the bowl has some non-sonic central cracks, purely cosmetic. Lively and complex with multiple layers of tone playing harmoniously. Sustain is very good. Easy rim play with simple wood or wand. The smooth bowl does not grip with leather. Marked down for the physical crack. With overtones at E5, D#6, B6, F7.
