Large Antique Manipuri Singing Bowl with active overtone #80293

1. Best L 2 Large Very Low Mallet single tap.
2. Rim Play: N103 Large Ringing Stick leather low then overtone followed by FP Tulipwood Wand

Large Manipuri with some remaining etching and rich dark patina.

Deep fundamental underneath an active overtone and solid next high. The fundamental becomes relatively stronger over time. Longevity is good as is harmony, the deep tone has a different feel than the overtones.

Nicest way to play the rim is the overtone with leather. Bass is soft and difficult to isolate. After a rough start a wand will sing the high tones intensely.. With overtones at G#4, G#5, E6, A#6.
