Flat bottom Manipuri like bowl with a wide open look and original patina. The artist shaped the bowl to have what is essentially a pedestal so it is totally stable on a flat surface. There is no etching on this nice and thick bowl and I suspect it never did. This is a twin of the bowl 80331 which may or may not be available by the time you read this,. Woo-woo fundamental, though a pretty tame one, under a pretty solid high. Premium harmony, fair sustain. Basic rim play, simple wood for a bit of the lower tone, wand for more overtone power. With overtones at C6, B6, G7.
