1. Best L 4 Large Low Mallet single tap.
2. Best S 7 Small Medium High Mallet single tap.

Large Manipuri with strong inner circles and outer lines. A worn inscription, contemporaneous with the bowl’s making, sits low on the outside. Slightly flared out rim. The first thing you hear when striking this bowl is the overtone at C#5. As you settle into the sound the pulsing primary bass tone is felt and the soothing overtone 6th octave overtone is heard. They become more prominent throughout the long sustain. In the second recording, multiple taps, you can hear how lively the bowl becomes. Due to the flared rim this is not a bowl for stick play. With overtones at G4, C#5, G#6, .
