Heavy Antique Manipuri Singing Bowl with a sweet array of overtones
8769 Heavy Antique Manipuri Singing Bowl with a sweet array of overtones
Thick Manipuri with wide rim. This bright colored bowl has simple clear inner circles. This heavyweight bowl puts out a lot of volume, a light touch gets it going, a firmer tap makes it loud. Despite the D4 strike note the soundscape is very much on the high end with two strong overtones. This is definitely a singing bowl. Plays really nicely off the rim, softly on the bass tone and strongly with the highs. You can hear a hint of the high overtones at the back end of clip 2 using the massive wand. With overtones at A5, G#6, D#7.
