Bright brassy colored Manipuri with clear etching on all surfaces. The bowl has punch circles inside and on the rim plus the old leaf pattern outside. Very much adorned. Bright and flashy soundscape, really powerful for its size with intensely energetic oscillations. So much sound in this tiny package! Outstanding longevity to enhance the activity. It is difficult to get the volume up off the rim, but to whatever extent you do the long sustain takes over and the bowl plays on. With overtones at B5, A#6, B6, F#7.
