Bright Manipuri with vestiges of elaborate etching evidenced by a circular set of dots inside the bowl. These dots were originally the enter of a punch circle.

Matching active bass and overtone play together throughout the good sustain, nicely harmonious tones.

Fine rim play with a spectacular twist Leather for bass takes the tap and spin method. It takes a bit of spinning for the first overtone. Strongest play by far is with a tiny wand, the 1185 Hz Solfeggio alto tone. Wonderfully smooth bowl, still bright after almost 10 years in our possession.. With overtones at D#5, D6. Perfect A3 – 220 Hz.
