Antique Manipuri Singing Bowl with pulsing main and solid overtone
8951 Antique Manipuri Singing Bowl with pulsing main and solid overtone
1. Best S 5 Small Medium Mallet single tap. |
2. Rim Play: N101 Small Ringing Stick wood followed by FP Tulipwood Wand |
Bright thicker Manipuri with a good amount of worn elaborate artwork. Soft strike tone, a subtle slowly pulsing presence and a solid overtone. Quite a simple soundscape. The overtone plays purely throughout the OK sustain. Plays well with wood, whatever type is used the bowl moves to the overtone with a hint of the next note up. Good rim sustain. With overtones at G#5, G#6, D7, D7.
