Thin Manipuri worn almost smooth with the faintest vestiges of elaborate etching evidenced by a circular set of dots inside the bowl. These dots were originally the enter of a punch circle.
A strong active overtone is the strongest presence with a subtle deep bass and equally subtle overtone. Nicely textured premium quality soundscape. Longevity is good.
Good rim play, the bass is surprisingly strong with leather. Overtones smoothly play with simple wood and tiny wand.. With overtones at C#5, C6, G#6.
