Antique Manipuri Singing Bowl with Spectacularly balanced highs #9017

1. Best S 7 Small Medium High Mallet single tap.
2. Rim Play: N102 Medium Ringing Stick wood followed by FP Kingwood Wand

Thick Manipuri smooth inside with some worn exterior etching. It has creamy patina and a wide rim.

Spectacularly balanced super high pitched soundscape lead by a solid fundamental and singing overtone. Premium harmony and very good sustain.

Excellent rim play. While unusual for high pitched bowls to play differently with different woods but this one has that quality. First overtone with a simple stick and second overtone at 2460 Hz with a tiny wand. That super high plays smoothly and can go to intense volume. Rated exceptional for sound quality, with outstanding rim play as a bonus. Definitely get the kingwood wand with this one if you want to hear a super high 7th octave tone. With overtones at E6, D#7.
