This bright colored bowl has incredibly thick smooth walls, a testament to the artisan who pounded it out of a flat sheet of metal. Angelic sounding bowl, solid tones to carry you along with a hint of higher notes above. Premium harmony, just the best with fine longevity. Rim play is nothing short of incredible. The amount of sustain after spinning is amazing. The perfect C#4 plays purely and exclusively with leather, no really big stick required either. The overtone comes out with great intensity with a massive wand. It is incredibly rare to find a super thick large Manipuri in the 4th octave, let alone one with the level of harmony and longevity in this bowl. With overtones at G5, F#6, C#7, G#7.
