Thick small Manipuri with a flared out rim and simple etching. The bowl has bright creamy patina. Powerful three tone soundscape, so much intensity for such a small bowl. The high tone fundamental pulses with a woo-woo – but quickly drops out leaving the solidly singing overtone and next high to carry on. Premium harmony, excellent sustain. Unusually versatile with wood play, bass, overtone and second high each can be isolated. Rated exceptional for the unfolding layers of sound. With overtones at A#5, A6.
