Antique Manipuri Singing Bowl with powerful harmonious high pitch #9224

1. Best S 7 Small Medium High Mallet single tap.
2. Rim Play: N101 Small Ringing Stick wood followed by FP Tiny Yew Wand

Manipuri on the thick side worn smooth with mixed patina. The bowl has a wide rim and a bit of flare in the shape.

Powerful high pitched bowl that bounces and flutters. There is something in the soundscape that indicates some subtle structural imperfection. Still harmony is very good and sustain is excellent.

Excellent rim play, a rarity in small high pitched bowls. All wood, bass with a simple stick, overtone with the right wand. Marked down a bit for the subtle sonic flaw.. With overtones at C#6, C7, G#7.
