Extra Thick Antique Manipuri Singing Bowl with vestiges of elaborate art #9343

9343 Extra Thick Antique Manipuri Singing Bowl with vestiges of elaborate art #9343

1. Best L 4 Large Low Mallet single tap.
2. Rim Play: N102 Medium Ringing Stick wood followed by FP Tulipwood Wand

Larger Manipuri with the vestiges of elaborate etching remaining in the low spots at the bottom. This bowl was originally much thicker as evidenced by the rim dots that used to be the center of full circles. Fluttering soft bass under a solid overtone and taste of the next high. Harmony and sustain are good, though only the overtones last. Fine wood rim play, overtones strongly and cleanly with simple wood and wands. With overtones at B4, A#5, B5.
